Sarvajanik University, in collaboration with its NSS Unit, proudly organized a special group-singing event to commemorate 150 years of the iconic national song Vande Mataram. The celebration was held on 20 November at 2:00 pm on the university campus and witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 170 students, NSS volunteers, and faculty members.
The event was held under the blessings and leadership of Shri Ashish Vakil, Chairman, Sarvajanik Education Society and President, Sarvajanik University; Dr. Kiran Pandya, Provost, Sarvajanik University; and Shri Ashish Desai, Registrar, Sarvajanik University. Their presence and inspiring words added immense value to the occasion, motivating participants to reflect on the cultural, historical, and patriotic significance of Vande Mataram.

Through this powerful collective rendition, the university sought to remind young citizens of the importance of unity, love for the motherland, and the shared responsibility of nation-building. Events like these help instill national pride, strengthen social cohesion, and nurture responsible, empathetic youth—qualities crucial for shaping a progressive and harmonious India.
